This is the fourth blog in my series, The Pulse of Africa talking with Global Africans working in Africa and across the Diaspora. It takes an inside view on Africa’s progress, issues on arts and culture, technology and opportunities in this decade. See the series here.
Spring brings early morning calls and great emails. It’s mostly about 6 degrees of separation. And of course, paying attention to what’s new and hot in the design industry. It is not often I need a graphic designer or can recommend one to others, but Blugge is a firm I would call on for innovative smart and good design.
The team at Blugge: Idongesit Edo, Cy Nakpodia and Ayinde Frederick.
Blugge pronounced bloo-zh is a creative design studio specializing in print, web, and branding initiatives. It is a partnership made of Ayinde Frederick, Cy Nakpodia and Idongesit Edo, graphic designers and die-hard Brooklynites who live by the Brooklyn Industries mantra “Live, Work, Create.” I agree with the mantra and also know they are having fun. You can see it in the work they produce.
